SEMCAC provides meals for senior citizens Monday through Friday of each week through their Senior Dining Program.  Volunteers provide the delivery of the meals which are prepared and packaged at the La Crescent Community Building.  

SEMCAC has contacted our club with a request for help with Thursday deliveries.  This would start on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023, and continue indefinitely every Thursday.

Times for the deliveries are from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  Delivery volunteers pick up the meals and route information at the back door of the La Crescent Community Building located at 336 S. 1st Street. There are roughly10 people who receive meals on each route. It generally takes no more than 45 minutes to complete a route.

Please join us for a picnic at the Old Hickory Park for a potluck dinner under the paviliion on the Jonathan Street side.  A main dish will be provided by the President and President Elect.  Please bring a dish of your own to pass.  A separate signup list will be created and circulated, and we would ask that club members choose an item on the signup sheet that they would be willing to provide, so that we are not all bringing the same thing!  At the Changeover Dinner, we will formally vote for our slate of officers for the upcoming Rotary year.  

We will also have our SECOND annual storytelling contest after dinner, so please start thinking about a story that you would like to share with club members.  

You may wish to bring a comfortable chair - and don't forget your sunscreen and bugspray!!

Meal pickup at La Crescent Community Building, 336 1st Street South (back door along alleyway).

SEMCAC provides meals for senior citizens Monday through Friday of each week through their Senior Dining Program.  Volunteers provide the delivery of the meals which are prepared and packaged at the La Crescent Community Building.  

SEMCAC has contacted our club with a request for help with Thursday deliveries.  This would start on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023, and continue indefinitely every Thursday.

Times for the deliveries are from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  Delivery volunteers pick up the meals and route information at the back door of the La Crescent Community Building located at 336 S. 1st Street. There are roughly10 people who receive meals on each route. It generally takes no more than 45 minutes to complete a route.

Please consider signing up for a few delivery times.

It's that time of of year again to help Leo get his displays ready for Rotary Lights!

We'll be meeting at 5:30 at the Rotary Lights Warehouse, have some pizza and then help out however he needs us!

The Thriller dance event is a really great and fun community event downtown La Crescent. We will be selling pulled pork sandwiches, chips or peanuts,pop,  water and hot chocolate.
