SEMCAC provides meals for senior citizens Monday through Friday of each week through their Senior Dining Program.  Volunteers provide the delivery of the meals which are prepared and packaged at the La Crescent Community Building.  

SEMCAC has contacted our club with a request for help with Thursday deliveries.  This would start on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023, and continue indefinitely every Thursday.

The Thriller dance event is a really great and fun community event downtown La Crescent. We will be selling pulled pork sandwiches, chips or peanuts,pop,  water and hot chocolate.

If Christmas ornaments can be in the stores, then it's ok to send out our invite for our Rotary Christmas Party!

Please join us on December 5th, 5:30 p.m., at The Freighthouse for dinner. Each person is responsible for their meal cost and can order off the menu. We will also be having a gift exchange ($10 minimum) and after that, weather permitting, a walk through Rotary Lights!

Our club will be having a social on Wednesday, January 24th, at 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. We'll be at Wieser Park Pavilion and the doors will open at 5:30 p.m. 

We'll be having a potluck dinner and making Valentine's for our La Crescent area residents of the nursing homes and ABLE.

SEMCAC has contacted our club with a request for help with Thursday deliveries.  This would start on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023, and continue indefinitely every Thursday.

Times for the deliveries are from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  Delivery volunteers pick up the meals and route information at the back door of the La Crescent Community Building located at 336 S. 1st Street. There are roughly10 people who receive meals on each route. It generally takes no more than 45 minutes to complete a route.

Please consider signing up for a few delivery times.
