SEMCAC provides meals for senior citizens Monday through Friday of each week through their Senior Dining Program.  Volunteers provide the delivery of the meals which are prepared and packaged at the La Crescent Community Building.  

A volunteer who used to provide deliveries every Thursday can no longer do so, and SEMCAC has contacted our club with a request for help with Thursday deliveries.  This would start on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023, and continue indefinitely every Thursday.

Times for the deliveries are from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  Delivery volunteers pick up the directions with a suggested delivery route, along with the bagged meals, at the back door of the La Crescent Community Building located at 336 S. 1st Street.  There are 15 people who receive meals on the route.

Bill Hoel will lead our club in the formal process of "visioning" - creating a blueprint for the future of the Rotary Club of La Crescent.  What do we want our club to be like in the next 5-10 years?  What are our goals and passions?  How do we want to interface with the larger La Crescent Community, and with Rotarians in our area and district.  This will be a 2-3 hour process, located in the La Crescent Community Building.  We will provide coffee, rolls, and yogurt - a $5 donation per person will be requestion to reimburse for these items.  Come join us as we map the future of Rotary in La Crescent!
