SEMCAC provides meals for senior citizens Monday through Friday of each week through their Senior Dining Program.  Volunteers provide the delivery of the meals which are prepared and packaged at the La Crescent Community Building.  

A volunteer who used to provide deliveries every Thursday can no longer do so, and SEMCAC has contacted our club with a request for help with Thursday deliveries.  This would start on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023, and continue indefinitely every Thursday.

Times for the deliveries are from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  Delivery volunteers pick up the directions with a suggested delivery route, along with the bagged meals, at the back door of the La Crescent Community Building located at 336 S. 1st Street.  There are 15 people who receive meals on the route.

Good morning!  

If Christmas ornaments can be in the stores, then it's ok to send out our invite for our Rotary Christmas Party!

Please join us on December 5th, 5:30 p.m., at The Freighthouse for dinner. Each person is responsible for their meal cost and can order off the menu. We will also be having a gift exchange ($10 minimum) and after that, weather permitting, a walk through Rotary Lights!

Please let Teri know by December 1st if you will be attending.
