The La Crescent Emotional Wellness Connection (LEWC) will host an important community discussion on February 24. The event will focus on the impact of screen time on kids. La Crescent Rotary is a member of LEWC, with Mary Bubbers and Dave Ebner representing the club. The event will include a preview of the "Screenagers" documentary films that will be shown to students on February 25. There will also be a FREE meal and a Resource Fair. Rotary and Lions club members will serve the meal. You're also encouraged to attend the event. No need to stay the entire evening -- come & go as you wish. We’re excited to share an upcoming collaborative volunteer day for all area Rotary Clubs, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse Region!
We are bringing together Rotarians from across the Coulee Region for a Rotary Volunteer Day on Saturday, April 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the ReNew the Block site on the north side of La Crosse.
Volunteers will work together on a variety of projects, including:
We’re hoping to recruit at least 50 volunteers to complete all of the tasks. Rotarians will be able to sign up for the type of work they’re most interested in, and all activities will be led by Habitat staff and experienced lead volunteers to ensure a positive and well-supported experience.

Volunteers will need to create an account, select a volunteer role, and complete a safety waiver to secure their spot. This is all done easily online. Additional details will be emailed to participants ahead of the volunteer day. Lunch will be provided!
